Oprah's On Letterman!

A TV First!

This Thursday, December 1st, Oprah Winfrey's making her debut appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman. He's been counting down to this big day, and nobody knows how it's gonna go down! Bodog's got your odds on how one of late night's titans greets one of daytime's titans!

Will he go for the triple play of handshake, kiss on the cheek, and hug?
Big money on no physical contact whatsoever!
How 'bout just a hug and a kiss on the cheek?

Give these numbers a hug today!

Reality TV Doesn't Stop for Thanksgiving

But on Survivor, I don't have much to be thankful for. Gary went. Oddly enough, Danni is still the favorite at 3 to 2, even though I have NO IDEA IN THE WORLD how she could possibly swing it to make it into the final four. And Rafe, who's won THREE immunity challenges is at 5 to 1. To me, it's simple math. We know that Rafe, Stephenie or Judd will be the final two. There's no way all three of them will get eliminated before then. Factor the match and figure out how to hedge. I mean, technically I suppose there's a way where they could all three get voted off, but can you imagine?

On Donald's Apprentice, Adam went and it was about time. They tried to make it look like Randall wasn't a shoe in by talking about how his stock had dropped, but come on. Who's gonna beat him?

Get on over to Bodog and bet on Randall at even money. And maybe get bold and bet on Survivor, too. I have a feeling about Rafe, don' t you?

Even More Spederline

In case you feel like it's not worth your time to possibly bet on Brit Brit, uh, "singing" on K-Feds "rap" album, perhaps you'll feel more confident betting money on the future of their marriage.

Sports Interaction has the odds. The favorite? Divorced by 12/31/06 (at 4.00). But you can also bet on following:

  • Britney gets pregnant with a second child
  • Kevin cheats with a stripper
  • And the long shot at 51.00, Britney has an affair with Justin Timberlake (we think he's better off with Cam Diaz, but that's just us)
To see all the odds and possibly nail a bet down on one of them, visit Sports Interaction. There's a drop down box in the upper right corner. Select "Entertainment" under "Specials."

My bet? Britney gets preggers with baby number two AND Federline cheats with a stripper!

Spederline makes great music together...

Laugh all you want, but it's happening: Little Mr. Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, is making a rap album. Notice I didn't say hip-hop-- that would imply some kind of intelligence for the "straight 2008." I mean, right?

The lovely Bodog has the lines up on whether Britney will sing on K-Fed's rap album The Truth. The TRUTH, yo.

The Even money is on yes. Now, you can basically double up on the notion that Britney wants to lend some name recognition to this wonderful venture, which also means that you're in denial about her recent flight away from K-Fed to her loving mother down in Louisiana and her subsequent cancelling of his credit cards. Right. I mean, at -130, what no means is that even though it's less likely to happen, you put down just $1 on that no, that's a sweet little $130 for a tiny little X-mas shopping spree. Oh, the holidays...

Fiddy's First Novel!

Fiddy Gets Literary!

G-Unit's frontman 50 Cent just struck a deal to have gritty urban novellas published featuring his fellow G-Unit clique. He's sold millions in records, made a killing at the box office, and now Bodog has the lines on the title of the first novel to be published on his fiction imprint. Read the lines on this!

You know he's a P.I.M.P.!
Will it be about Players on the Streets?
Is going to tell The Truth about the Life; the Sex, Guns and Cash?

Play the guessing game today!

Gary! Gary! Gary!

So I've spent the last three week's saying that, on Survivor, Gary, even though he's one of the favorites at 3 to 1, could only win if tribal lines got broken.

Did they get broken? I'm not sure. One week where you get rid of a physical threat with male pms doesn't mean the rest of the original six will break their plan. But here's what I know: Gary in a final two with just about anybody who's left will win because he's a flat out nice guy who played the game well.

But am I bet hedging? As always. Rafe is 5 to 1. Who wouldn't vote for Rafe? You know what people forget? He's won two immunity challenges. He could sneak in and make the final four and then it's all up in the air. Who knows?

Click on over to Bodog to see the all the odds on the final seven contestants.

Over on The Apprentice: Donald, I'm bored. This was the week where the producers obviously told Randall to mess something up on purpose so they could build drama that maybe Alla for Felicia will win. Yawn. Keep it on Randall at even money. He'll shine this week for sure.

Brangelina May Just Make You Some Cash...

It's on like Donkey Kong, y'all. They've signed the pre-nup. Now, Sports Interaction may have closed their lines on Brad and Angelina, but BetOnSports has the even money on these two marrying by the end of the year.

Get on over there to double your money!

To the 2 People in America Watching Martha's Apprentice

You know they won't be bringing this show back next season, right? I guess I'll have to find another way to put myself to sleep.

Amanda went, but she was at 10 to 1 anyway. You can still bet on the winner, who will obviously be Dawna or Leslie, at Bodog. I dare you to bet on Jim. Dare you. You can make 4 times your money if Martha's crazy enough to hire him. I dare you.

What will Terrell Owens do next?

Okay, firstly, confession: I've always loved Terrell Owens. That said, he has some, you know, issues. In case you've been hiding out, to sum up:

  • Despite being a horribly gifted wide receiver who's not afraid of wearing a white unitard on national tv, Terrell Owens has a problem knowing when to shut his mouth.
  • Terrell Owens leaves the San Francisco Forty-Niners, and at the right time. He goes to Philly where he's paired with Donovan McNabb, one of the most gifted quarterbacks out there.
  • The Eagles go to the Super Bowl in 05. Things look good.
  • The Eagles have a losing record in 05-06. Things don't look so good.
  • Owens insults McNabb and the team. It's ugly. Other people write about it many places in more detail than I will. Owens is thrown off the team. My mom thinks he got what he deserved.
But what will he do next? BetOnSports has a ton of odds up on Terrell Owen's future, and some of them actually make sense. Let's run through them.

Terrell Owens will be caught betting against the Eagles (+15000)
The reason this is at +15000 is because it's honestly so unlikely to happen. What do we know about Terrell Owens? He likes his bling. You can't have that much bling if you're betting your earnings away. Terrell Owens as the next Pete Rose? Come on, not so much.

Terrell Owens will play for another team this season (+1000)
10x your money if he does! This is what you have to decide. Is there a playoff close team that could get over the hump with a high value, high impact, high drama wide receiver? Right now, it doesn't look like there is, and if there is it's probably Atlanta and you HAVE to think Jim Mora is smarter than that.

Terrell Owens will have a career change and start modeling full time (+2500)
It seems like a stretch, I know. But remember, this man LOVES himself and his body, and he doesn't have a ton of inhibitions. Need I mention the white unitard again? You really don't think he'd become a full time model? I think he might!

Terrell Owens will get into a fight with D. McNabb on National TV (+5000)
+5000? Really? 50x your money? I think Owens and McNabb will get into MORE than one fight on TV. The only reason they haven't so far is McNabb has exhibited great self-control. As frustration mounts for McNabb, it becomes more and more likely that they'll throw on down.

Terrell Owens will pose nude for a magazine (+500)
OF COURSE HE WILL. Why is this even a bet? Terrell owens was more than happy to get naked for NFL promos. He'll totallly be happy to get naked for a magazine. Where's my credit card? I'll be betting this.

Terrell Owens will try to sue the Eagles organization (even money)
OF COURSE HE WILL. This is what athletes do. And that's why this bet is even money.

Terrell Owens won't play professional football again (+250)
Okay, remember that these bets are until 12/06. 2.5x your money that T.O. won't play next season is really what you're betting. I guess what you have to ask yourself is how desperate is Denver? And if that's what your asking yourself, then you probably have to ask yourself if Jake the Snake is going to bed each night saying a prayer that they're not that desperate for a wide out. Because no quarterback survives T.O.

There are, I kid you not, 13 other prop bets on what T.O. may do before 12/06 at BetOnSports. But you'll need to dig to find them because even though you might think these props are in the sports celebrities section, they're not. At BetOnSports, click betting lines and then NFL futures. The T.O. odds are under the Superbowl Odds. And I hope you did not have a Super Bowl futures bet on the Eagles. So click to get over to BetOnSports and wager some money on the future of our favorite drama queen NFL player.

Here's what we know: T.O. will do ANYTHING. It's just a question of whether you really think you know what he'll do!

Hugh and His Babes

Okay, we all know that the guilty pleasure we watch late at night is The Girls Next Door. Hugh and his three pretties, dippy Bridget, crazy Kendra, milfy Holly. But will Hugh take the plunge and actually marry one of those girls?

You know, the odds are against it, but if you watch the show then you know that he seems, well, more settled in and like he may take the plunge with, in particular, Holly. Hmmmmm

Do you think so? I think so. I'll put $10 on it to possible win $50 with BetOnSports +500 odds that Hugh wil marry one (or all) of his girlfriends before December 2006. +500 for the newbies means that BetOnSports thinks it's pretty unlikely so you can get 5x your money back if you bet that the Hef will put a ring on Holly, Kendra or Bridget's finger.

I think if nothing else it would make good TV, E! is probably pushing for it, and I'll put $10 down that we end up seeing a wedding episode of The Girls Next Door next season. I'm just saying, people have done stranger things in the name of reality tv.

See our article on how to sign up at BetOnSports if you want to join me in believing Hugh can make those girls honest women.

Bobby Jon! Bobby Jon! Whaaaat???

By the way, just for the record, anybody who guessed that because Maggie Grace got movie contracts she'd be the next character voted off of Lost, looks like you cleaned up if you put some money down over at Bodog.

My evening starts out badly and gets, well...

I know, I know, Brandon, Gary, Bobby Jon and Danni have almost NO chance of winning Survivor. Yet they continue to post favorites odds (Danni is 3 to 2, Gary is 3 to 1 and before he went packing off to some resort tonight Bobby Jon was posting at 7 to 2). Anyway, if you saw the show, then you know that Gary found the extra immunity idol and Bobby John went down in a confused jury vote and it was very sad because, well, we all love Bobby Jon right? So here's my point. The three remaining Yaxha members seem doomed, yet they're still the favorites of the oddsmakers. I'd love to see Gary win, but, man, Cindy at 11 to 2 and Lydia at 12 to 1 both seem like they may be good bets. They haven't offended anybody yet, and if people keep voting along tribal lines, at least one of the two of them is almost sure to be in the final four. Hmmmmm.....

And also somebody PLEASE vote Stephenie off. She is UNBEARABLE this season.

And then...

And then...

Last week I say that Marshawn is a great longshot pick to win it all. I say "Great value in that pick." And this week she blows off her team and bails on the at the 11th hour and gets fired? Oh, and Brian gets fired, too, but who even knew who he was?

Odds at Bodog for The Apprentice: Donald have shifted. Randall is still in the lead at even money (and he'd have to uncover naked shots of Donald and post them online to not win this at this point), but Alla has moved up to 4 to 1 and Rebecca has moved up to 3 to 2. And honestly, probably one of them will be in the final two, so if Randall has a bad last task....

It's not too late to get over to Bodog and place a bet. It's down to the final six. Plus, deposit $25 at Bodog and you'll get a free $25 to bet with, so you can place an extra bet on Survivor or, if you've been able to stay awake through it, The Apprentice: Martha.

Oh, Bobby Jon!!!!! Why you?!

I really couldn't be bothered to watch the nonsense that is The Apprentice: Martha last week, but if I had I would have yawned along with the rest of the nation when those two boring blonds got eliminated after they tried to sell Tide-To-Go stain sticks with hip hop? Hip hop? My mom uses Tide detergent. Not so keen on the hip hop, my mom.

Coming in to tonight's episode, Dawna (6 to 5 odds), Howie and Leslie (both at 3 to 2 odds) were the strong favorites over at Bodog, who's taking bets on the outcome.

But then last night Howie did, well, nothing, which pretty much sums up what happened in the entire episode. Nothing. Lots of nothing. But Howie's gone, and the long shot bets are Amanda at 10 to 1 and Ryan at 8 to 1, and no matter how hard I try, I just can't care.

Dallas: The Movie

My boyfriend LOVES Dallas. We watch every season, in sequence, on Soap Net (which I believe my boyfriend would be horrified if he knew that you knew that he watched Soap Net). And we've watched every season MORE THAN ONCE. And you know what? Dallas was a masterpiece of TV. If you're a youngin' and you've never watched it, think The OC meets Desperate Housewives, but in Texas. If you're like me and you grew up with Melrose Place, Dallas gives it a run for its money.

JR Ewing. What a man! He even had his own underwear commercial. Never seen without his cowboy hat.

So, then, because all great things from the eighties must now be made into movies, Dallas will soon be a major motion picture. And who will play JR Ewing? Sports Interaction has odds up if you think you have a hunch that might land you a pay day.

John Travolta is the leader at 2.25 (see our article on how to read odds if that makes no sense!). Really? A disco dancing Scientologist as JR Ewing? Well, Larry Hagman was no prince charming himself, so who knows?

Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis and Kevin Costner are all next in line at 6.00. And honestly, I could see any of them being a good JR Ewing. What do you think?

The long shot is Colin Farrell at 41.00. And honestly, he is a little too cosmopolitan to play JR. And also I think we still all haven't forgiven him for the blond eyebrows in Alexander. There are a lot of other options in there. You should take a look. Nobody is sure when they'll announce who got the role, but at 6.00, I might hedge a bet between a sexy JR (Brad Pitt) and a tough JR (Bruce Willis).

You have to do a little digging to find it if you want to take a shot. On the Sports Interaction homepage, in the upper left hand corner there's a drop down box that says "Select a Sport." Drop the box down and near the bottom you'll see "Specials" (it's below soccer) and in that section you'll see "Entertainment." Just click that and the Dallas odds are right there!

Who Will Be Killed Off On Lost?

Get the odds on Lost!

Last year, those clever writers on the hit Emmy award-winning Lost killed off Boone. The creators and writers of our favorite show have said someone else is going to be killed this season!. How major of a character is it? This week Bodog gives you the numbers on the characters' chances. Get in on the mystery!

Will the stolen Walt end up gone forever?
Maybe Sawyer will be killed by the group from the tail end of the plane!
Is the new girl Libby next?

Get the odds on the Emmy winning show!

I say it's gotta be Libby. Come on, we're too invested in everyone else not to have her killed off.

Brandon & Marcus: One of these men should nhttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifot have gone!

Look, if you were putting your money on Marcus over at Bodog on The Apprentice, then you got what you deserved last night. Got your money on Randall? I hope so, because after Trump all but drooled on him, pointing out that he's been PM twice and not lost, I think we all know how this season is ending.

Over on Survivor, I told you last week that Brandon's odds were inflated and that for sure at least the first week after the merge the voting would be along tribal lines. Hope you listened and didn't put any money down on him! If you believe the tribes will realign, then Bobby John at 7 to 2, Danni at 3 to2 and Gary at 3 to 1 still make sense as the favorites. But Rafe or Cindy would pretty much have to switch tribal lines for that to happen. Otherwise, you have to think an original Nakum member will win, and that puts good betting value for your money on Judd at 9 to 1, Jamie at 8 to 1 and Stephenie at 7 to 2.

Remember when we all liked Stephenie? That seems so long ago. Now she seems kind of, you know, not as nice as I remember.

Vesper Lind on lock?

Well, well, well. Over at Bodog, they've frozen the odds on all the Bond girls, keeping them up but not clearing them out. And why is that, you ay ask? Has someone snagged the role? Seems like actress Jasmine Lennard has voiced that she's been in talks for the role.

Then again, according to the article, Jasmine is falling for the old Bond trap - talking about a potential casting before it happens. That usually has only one outcome... being dropped. Which means she should've kept her mouth shut.

Stay tuned, folks. This may not be a closed event yet!

Beyoncé & Jay-Z = Mommy and Daddy?

At least once a week, there's a new story about how Beyoncé and Jay-Z got married in a secret wedding, and now she's pregnant. Now, I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, look at the timing: Hova's trying to move his basketball team, the Nets, into Brooklyn; he's basically retired from music and is the big man over at Def Jam. Beyoncé's free now that Destiny's Child has split. I mean, seriously, their careers have been made, let's get settled and have babies.

Over at Sports Interaction, you can play along with the guessing game. Under "Specials," click on "Beyoncé and Jay-Z's Destiny" and scroll down to "Beyoncé & Jay-Z - Parents 2 B?" to see the numbers.

Come on, it's too easy to bet on "Baby Boy." (Now you got that song stuck in your head, suckas!) I don't even want to comment on "Baby named Destiny." BOO. I think the real action is when the birth is: the best odds are between April-June of next year at 2.50-- that means if B is pregnant right now, and has been pregnant for a couple of months already, you'll get a decent return. But it seems more likely that between July-September of next year is more likely, even at 5.00. $10 would get you $50-- not bad at all, I say.

Either way, I think the kid'll probably be the next generation's Lauren Hill. No joke.

NBA is HERE BABY!

Look, I admit it. A studly NBA player is as hot to watch as any movie star. Sort of. And yes, I read every article about the Kobe Bryant trial. Ouch.

And NBA season is starting, so I thought I'd do a quick little post on a fun little bet you can make if you think you know who will win in a fight between Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone.

Go to BetOnSports, go into the betting lines and go to the section called Sports Celebrities. Scroll on down and you'll see that you can bet on the winner of a fight between Kobe and Karl, which we all know is likely to happen sometime. Karl Malone is the favorite at -3000. Kobe is the underdog at +1000. Check out our odds explanation if those numbers confuse you like they do me.

Yeah, Karl may be older, but Kobe is soft. We all know that. I'd go with the favorite. Malone doesn't PLAY. The Mailman will totally deliver on Kobe's ass.

If you want to throw money down just for fun, you can also bet on:
  • Will a DNA test reveal that Kobe's daughter is in fact Karl Malone's?
  • Will Karl Malone and Kobe Bryant come out of the closet and get marry in Canada before 12/31/05?

But honestly, there's some money to be won on that Kobe/Karl fight. Seriously, playas.
